From the Lake by Bruce L. Reynolds

$19.99

The poems in From the Lake are lessons about how to live life, and how to leave it. About finding identity, and surrendering it. They tell stories of friendship, family and love, and the joy, pain and despair which these can bring. We are invited to share the author’s outrage at disastrous decisions by our national leaders. But always, amid the pain, anger and despair, we encounter the still, small voice of calm that rises from the waters of Cedar Lake.

Bruce L. Reynolds was educated at Exeter and Yale. His poetic alma mater was the waters of Big Cedar Lake, and the Wisconsin kettle moraine around it. Retired from an academic career, he now plants hard-woods, cultivates raspberries and currants, canoes, sails, and writes poetry.
